PVB laminated Glass
PVB is the abbreviation of dibutyl butyraldehyde in the interlayer of laminated glass. The thickness of PVB is generally an integral multiple of 0.38. It has good adhesion to inorganic glass and has the characteristics of transparency, heat resistance, cold resistance, moisture resistance and high mechanical strength. PVB film is mainly used for laminated glass. A layer of PVB film with polyvinyl butyral as the main component is sandwiched between two pieces of glass. PVB laminated glass is widely used in construction, automobile and other industries because of its safety, heat preservation, noise control and UV isolation.
Laminated glass is a kind of safety glass with excellent performance. It consists of two or more pieces of glass with one or more layers of tear-resistant polyvinyl butyral PVB interlayer film heated and combined by pressure bonding. Glass products, which have permeability, high mechanical strength, light resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance. Laminated glass has good impact resistance and safety when broken. When the laminated glass receives impact and breaks, the fragments are still firmly adhered to the interlayer, and will not hurt people.
1. Safety: in case of external impact, the elastic intermediate layer can absorb the impact and prevent the penetration of the impact object. Even if the glass is damaged, it will only produce fine cracks similar to spider web. The fragments are firmly adhered to the intermediate layer and will not fall off and hurt people. It can continue to be used until it is replaced.
2. Anti theft: PVB laminated glass is very tough, even if the burglar breaks the glass, because the middle layer and glass are firmly adhered together, the integrity is still maintained, so that the thief can not enter the room. After installation of laminated glass, guardrail can be omitted, which can save money and beauty, and get rid of the feeling of cage.
3. Sound insulation: due to the damping function of PVB film to sound wave, PVB laminated glass can effectively suppress the transmission of noise, especially in the buildings on both sides of airports, stations, downtown areas and roads, the sound insulation effect is very obvious after the installation of laminated glass.
4. Anti ultraviolet performance: PVB film can absorb more than 99% of ultraviolet radiation, thus protecting indoor furniture, plastic products, textiles, carpets, artworks, ancient cultural relics or commodities from fading and aging caused by ultraviolet radiation.
